Short Description

7-days 6-nights program visiting Athens, Delphi, Meteora and Santorini.

Day 1 | Arrival to Athens airport. Meet and greet with our driver and private transfer to the hotel – Free day. Overnight in Athens. 
Day 2 | Athens city tour including pick up/drop off and entrance tickets to Acropolis hill – Free afternoon. Overnight in Athens.
Day 3 | Starting the two-day guided luxury bus tour from Athens to Delphi, and Kalambaka. Overnight in Kalampaka.
Day 4 | Return the second day after visiting Meteora through Thermopylae to Athens. Overnight in Athens. 
Day 5 | Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Piraeus port. Speed Ferry from Piraeus to Santorini. Transfer to your hotel – Free afternoon. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 6 | Free day to explore Santorini – Optional local tour or cruise. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 7 | Departure from Santorini – Transfer to the port or the airport.

Optional day 7 : for your return from Santorini to Athens
1st option: flight-1-hour. The price is 120 € per person. Connect with your flight home,
2nd option: speed ferry tickets 12:30-18:00. The price is 90 € per person.
3rd option: regular ferry tickets 15:30-23:30. The price is 70 € per person.

  • Transfers: Transfers served in private basis with an English-speaking driver.
  • Ferries: High-speed ferries in economy class. Upgrades to Business or VIP class are upon request.
  • Flights: This tour can be operated, partially or entirely, by flights, upon request.
  • Hotels: First Class (4*) including breakfast. Tourist Class (3*) and Superior Class (5*) rates, upon request.
  • Extra Nights: Adding extra days/nights/locations, and islands is possible before finalize bookings.
  • Local Tours/Cruises: Typically group-based up to 40. Private or small-group options are available upon request.
  • Seasonal Note: From November 1st to April 1st each year, this tour is operated upon request and uses flights for inter-island transfers or all routes due to ferry schedule limitations.

Itinerary

Day 01. Arrival / Athens.
Arrival at Athens airport. Welcome assistance and private transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
After you are settled in your room, you may follow an optional tour/cruise. You may check the full list of our optional tours/cruises here.
Day 02. At leisure / Athens.
After breakfast, the day starts with a half-day tour dedicated to exploring the city of Athens.
This half-day tour departs with a panoramic tour to the most important monuments and landmarks of the city of Athens including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Syntagma Square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament.
We continue our guided visit to the "Sacred Rock" of Acropolis in order to admire the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea & the Temple of Athena Nike.
Our tour ends with a visit to the new, spectacular Acropolis Museum . A marvel of architecture with a full exhibition of the glory of Ancient Athens. The museum is also voted one of the best museums in the world.
Transfer to your hotel or, alternatively, explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city, and why not, do some shopping at Ermou street.
Day 03. Delphi / Kalambaka.
After our breakfast, we depart northwards towards Delphi, which used to be the most sacred place in the world and a pilgrimage center for many centuries in antiquity. You will admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred way, and visit the temple of Apollo, home of Pythia (the oracle). In the afternoon, and after a short break for lunch (not included), we will be crossing the mountains of central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight.
Day 04. Meteora / Athens.
This morning we will be visiting Meteora. Amazing rock formations, like towers of sandstone, stand ageless, and have provided sacred retreat for monks over the centuries. A number of monasteries are hidden on top of Meteora. The view over the plain is breathtaking. Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and belongs to UNESCO's list of world heritage monuments. After our visit, we will take the road back to Athens. On the way, we will make a short stop at Thermopylae, to admire the statue of Leonidas, king of Sparta. Overnight in Athens.
Day 05. Piraeus – Santorini / Santorini.
In the morning, we will be transferred to the port of Piraeus to catch the local ferry to Santorini. Arrival in Santorini in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the island or for an optional tour.
Day 06. At leisure / Santorini.
At leisure to explore the magical island of Santorini. Discover Fira & Oia with the breathtaking views to the volcano, and enjoy one of the best sunsets in the Aegean.
Our suggestions for the island are the following:
  • Discover the unique black-sanded and red-sanded beaches
  • Visit Oia to enjoy the famous sunset
  • Take a half day or full day cruise to the volcano and to the hot springs for swimming

  • Day 07. Departure
    Breakfast and at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport or to the port. This transfer is the final of our services for this organised trip.
    Kindly, let us know if you want to book for you the return air/ferry tickets to Athens so we can add this to the final total cost.
    The domestic flight Santorini/Athens lands at the same airport as your international flight and you may continue your flight home.
    The ferries arrive at Piraeus port and we can add a transfer to the airport for your flight home.
    Another option is to stay a additional night in Athens and transfer you the next day to the airport.

    • Ferry schedules are subject to change without prior notice, and the itinerary may not be possible on certain dates at the beginning and at the end of the season.
    • An “overnight stay” tax applies to all accommodations in Greece. This tax is charged on a per room per night basis and amounts to € 3,00 for 3* hotels, € 7,00 for 4* hotels, and € 10,00 for 5* hotels. This tax is NOT included in our rates and should be paid locally on the spot by the clients.
