On this bus & walking tour you will get plenty of information about the traditions, history, architecture and the modern life of Mykonos.

 

Itinerary
We start the city and island tour at the central bus station, Fabrika square in Mykonos town where you will meet your tour guide and have a small briefing.

First, we will explore the island on a comfortable bus ride, visiting some of the most famous beaches and the inner landscape.

We start from the picturesque small port of Saint Ioannis where the local fishing boats leave from and are protected from the island’s strong north wind.
Next we head to the second main village of Ano Mera, an idyllic place 6 km from town, where you will have enough free time for a stroll around the traditional square and to visit the 16th-century monastery Panagia Tourliani with its artistic marble bell tower and impressive icon wall.

Next stop is Kalafatis beach where there is time to relax for a while before going back for Mykonos town where we will have a photo stop at the Panorama point above the city, a place with a fantastic view all over the town and the neighboring islands.

The bus tour is followed by a guided city walk through the small and narrow streets of Mykonos town, the most famous spots like Little Venice, the windmills and Paraportiani church, as well as the beautiful whitewashed streets and little alleys and Mykonos harbor front.

The tour ends with a lot of impressions and useful information of Mykonos Island.
